Dates for Platinum Fiji, 2016

The Platinum Mastermind conference for 2016 will be held from March 21-27, 2016. Your Platinum Mastermind investment includes your accommodations from a check-in date of March 21st through a checkout date of March 27th. You will want to arrive in Fiji on or before mid-afternoon on Monday, March 21st. We will have a welcome dinner that night at 7pm for the entire group. Day 1 of the Mastermind will begin the next day (Tuesday). The 5th and last full day will be the 26th of March (Saturday) – and then you’re free to depart on the 27th of March (Sunday). We will also be hosting several add-on events. See details below. During this Mastermind we will be busy doing a lot of training (and also having some fun) but you may want to stay a few extra days, to enjoy this special place.

SHANGRI-LA’S FIJIAN RESORT & SPA offers stylish, luxurious rooms, Six unique dining venues, Kid’s activites at the Little Chief’s Club, activity coordinators entertain children with a variety of fun activities while parents relax. Many of the activities also take place at the children’s pool, on the beach or at our lively children’s playground..

Prolonging the magic at the beach, you lose track of time walking on golden sand and wading in pristine lagoon waters. Eventually, a beautiful sunset of red and purple hues sets you ready for a sumptuous meal at the resort.

Pre-dinner drinks at Bilo Bar precede a Pan Asian dinner at Takali Terrace Restaurant. Then, it’s dancing to live music for you at the Black Marlin Bar. All the while, the alluring Pacific Ocean never leaves your sight.

Who Can Attend?

Your Platinum Investment MUST be fully funded before you can attend any Platinum Mastermind. If your Platinum Investment is not fully funded, you are not eligible for this event and you must defer until the next one.

Your Platinum Package covers the cost for you and one guest. Additional children or guests will be the responsibility of the attendee and will be directly charged to the attendee and paid directly to the hotel. Maximum capacity per room will be 3 adults and 1 child. Your Platinum package includes your accommodations, 3 meals per day with our organized group meals, and beverages during our group meals.  Should you choose to dine away from the group, you may do so at your own expense.

NOTE: All additional charges for children or additional guests will be charged by the hotel and paid directly to the hotel. Rates for additional guests and children will be as follows:

  • Additional guest in your room:  $1900

“Why Do I Need To Be At This Platinum? Why Can’t I Just Go To The Next One?”

Let me tell you a quick story. It was early 2010… I was in a top tier direct sales company, and I was doing just ‘ok.’ They also offered high end Masterminds – with the highest one being $15,000, which I’d invested in a year before. It was scheduled to be held in about 2 months. I wanted to go, but, a part of me thought, “I’m going to wait till I’m actually getting good results in this business, and, I have more money coming in. Then I’ll go.” I was in a tight spot financially -the airfare was about $2,000 from Australia, and even though I could have found that money if I really wanted to – I didn’t have it on hand. So I decided to go to the next one.

So I took the easy option.

My advice to you, is don’t make this an ‘optional’ thing. Don’t think, “if I get a few sales… then I’ll go.” Or whatever your ‘if [insert condition] … then I’ll go’ excuse is. The people who do make the most money in MOBE don’t make excuses. Conversion Summit

The Conversion Summit will be extremely beneficial to your business. The dates for this will be March 19-21. That means that Day 1 starts on the morning of the 19th. Day 2 is the 20th. Day 3 is the 21st. We’ll finish before the official Platinum Mastermind Welcome dinner begins that same night. If you choose to attend the Conversion Summit, you’ll likely want to arrive at the resort on or before the 18th so you have time to rest, and the summit will start the morning of the 19th.

For the Conversion Summit, the event portion is free as benefit of your Platinum Investment – as long as you register by choosing the Conversion Summit Ticket. However, your accommodations (Hotel room, food, etc) during the summit will be at your own expense. We have arranged for you to enjoy our group rates, IF you register as our guest. See the section on additional nights in the hotel for more information. All additional nights in the hotel will be the responsibility of the attendee and must be paid directly to the hotel.

Activities & Entertainment

“What Kind Of Activities Will We Be Doing?”

75% of the Mastermind will be us doing live training sessions. Many of these will be interactive. About 25% of the time, we’ll be out of the seminar room doing fun activities. On a couple of days of the Mastermind, we will take the afternoon off and have some fun. We have diligently searched to provide a variety of activities to appeal to our diverse group.

 

CORAL COAST CULTURAL TOUR

The Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park is located at the mouth of the Sigatoka River on the island of Viti Levu in Fiji. They are located approximately 3 km West of the town of Sigatoka.

They are the product of erosion in the coastal hinterland and coastal dune forming processes. The extensive dune system covers an area of 650 hectares and comprises a series of parabolic sand dunes of various ages and activities. The dunes range from around 20-60m tall.

The dunes have been forming over thousands of years and archaeological excavations here have uncovered pottery more than 2600 years old, as well as one of the largest burial sites in the Pacific. Evidence of the past is clearly visible throughout the dune system as pottery scatters, stone tools, human remains and other archaeological relics continue to be uncovered by natural processes.

You’ll also visit Kula Eco Park which is an ecological preserve in Fiji. It is located on Fiji’s largest island, Viti Levu, near Sigatoka. The area was originally established as a bird park in the 1980s, but was bought by Kula Eco Park Management in January 1997.[2] With an extensive system of walkways through the park, and a wide range of attractions, the park is now a popular tourist attraction.

 

MOKUSIGA HALF DAY TOUR TO ROBINSON ISLAND

After a great beach welcome by our staff & occasionally some of our in-house guests, you will have free time to go Fishing, Stand up Paddle Boarding, Massage or a refreshing drink from our Wreck Bar (All at extra cost)

Enjoy a Free Activity like kayaking, swim in the pool or in our private lagoon or perhaps some snorkeling on our nearby coral reef. Take our Jungle Bush Walk or just laze on the beach, catch some sun and look at the magnificent island scenery.

Watch as the staff climb the coconut tree to retrieve coconuts, and then take part in our juice tasting demonstration fresh from the coconuts.

Guests then meander over to the Lovo pit where Fijian traditions and cooking Lovo style is explained. When the food is taken out of the Lovo our Fijian warriors walk the hot stones and coals then it’s on to a fresh healthy lunch consisting of garden salads, chicken, ham and fish all served buffet style. Our traditional Kavaholic Band plays island guitars & sings whilst you enjoy your lunch. Our fantastic & world famous South Pacific & Fijian Dance Spectacular Show begins with traditional Fijian Warrior dances, Traditional Polynesian, Melanesian & South Pacific Dances with Knife Dancing and to finish off our spectacular Fire Dance. A fabulous finish to a great show.

After all the excitement of the show guests can either once again board our snorkeling boat “Adi Katarina” or “Fijian Princess” to take a short trip out to our magnificent coral reef for some snorkeling. Alternatively, those guests who would rather remain on the island, can take our Jungle Bush Walk with one of our guides who explains all the traditional methods of using plants which grow naturally on our island, as medicines.

We then venture down to our Turtle viewing area where you may be lucky enough to see one or two, that is followed by our crab race and then finally a very heartfelt “Moce Sota Tale” from all our staff before boarding our boat again at 4.30pm to take the return Jungle Cruise back down the Tuva river back to our Jetty.

You will know that what you are seeing is the “real deal” as the 15 villages we work with, deep in the Fijian interior allow you to get a glimpse of life as it used to be.

ZIPLINE + JUNGLE SAFARI + WATERFALL TOUR

The Sleeping Giant Zip line Adventure Park. It is the funniest, fastest and the safest way to fly! Come fly with us over waterfalls, raging rivers, and through the tropical jungle, you’ll love it!

If you haven’t done a zip line yet, nows the time to live life a little and feel the rush! This Zipline course is truly world class. It will take you on a tour of 10 zips spanning over 1.3 km through Fiji’s pristine tropical rainforest and waterfalls with some zips as long as 160 meters, and you’ll fly as fast as 60kmp/h. This is truly something you will never ever forget!

Destination Details

Flying In To Fiji

Personally, I use expedia.com to book most of my flights. Again – I recommend you arrive a day or two early, or stay a few extra nights, so you can really explore Fiji and enjoy the place. During the Mastermind, we’ll be spending a good deal of time in training sessions. A few extra days will give you time to experience Fiji. The airport for Fiji is Nadi International Airport. The airport code is NAN.

Once you arrive in Fiji, transportation will be provided for you and your Guest within certain constraints. Please take note of the following guidelines.

Transportation is limited between Nadi International Airport and the Shangri-la Fijian Resort. Transportation for those attending will be provided on the Arrival date of March 21st ONLY and for the Departure date of March 27th ONLY. If your flight falls outside of these dates, please plan on making your own transportation arrangements.

If you need to make transportation arrangements outside the provided arrival and departure dates you can obtain a taxi at the airport for a minimal charge.

Weather In Fiji in March

With maximum temperatures sitting between 26°C and 31°C year round this is definitely thongs and shorts weather. Conditions are perfect for working on your tan, sailing the crystal clear waters, exploring local reefs and discovering the rich culture and heritage that is so abundant in the local markets.

The best time to visit Fiji weather wise is between late March and early December, with sunny days and a warm tropical climate offering endless options for exploring the sandy white beaches and rolling mountains of the island.

Frequently Asked Questions

“What If I Want To Stay A Few Extra Nights At The Resort?”

We have negotiated a group rate discount for the 3 nights PRIOR to the Mastermind and the 3 nights AFTER the Mastermind. This package was created to accommodate our add-on Summit Program participants and is only available if you register as our guest. Should you wish to participate in the Summit programs, you will be responsible for your accommodations and food. Or, if you just want to stay a few extra days in Fiji, you may take advantage of these rates, as well.  Be sure to book early, our group rate is based on availability.

Rates for additional nights will be as follows:

  • Lagoon view  room: $139 + tax + VAT (per person per night)
  • Ocean view room: $160 + tax + VAT (per person per night)
  • Children Age 0 – 17: $TBA

“Can I Bring Additional Guests Or Children?”

Your Platinum Mastermind ticket covers the cost for you and your invited guest. Additional children or guests are welcome, but the cost will be your responsibility and will be directly charged by the hotel and must be paid upon departure. When you check in at the resort, you will need to present a credit card to cover these charges; as well as any incidentals you incur. Additional charges during Conference days (assessed by resort):

  • Children age 0-17: $TBA
  • Additional Guest – same room:  $1900 (activities portion will be paid to MOBE)

“If I’m Bringing My Family, What Kind Of Things Can They Do
During The Training Sessions?”

First of all, your guest is perfectly welcome to join us in the main seminar room during the teaching sessions. If you have children, they are also welcome – if they are under 12, please be sure noise levels are kept to a minimum, as we’ll be recording. If your extras don’t want to attend the sessions, they can hang out at the pool, lay on the beach, or spend some time at the spa.

“How Do I Make My Hotel Reservation”

****NOTE: We expect this Mastermind to reach its Maximum capacity.****

This means that for the first time in our history, we may have to turn guests away. By completing the registration information, you will secure your room and your seat for this Mastermind. Please note the hotel requires ALL guests to provide full name, number of guest, full home address detail, email, phone number, arrival and departure dates. This information will be required in order to complete your registration form. Final Registration date is Friday, February 26, 2016 – however, the registration will close sooner if we reach our maximum capacity.  Should that happen, you will have to defer your Platinum fulfillment until a later date.

“What Kind Of Clothes Should I Bring?”

Bring casual clothes, and, also one set of clothes for a formal dinner. The weather will be warm and humid. Make sure you bring bathers, as well as some clothes you don’t mind getting dirty in (for the activities).  Please be sure to bring CLOSED TOED SHOES for the activities.

***Note: Sometimes in the seminar rooms, the air temperature will be too hot for some and too cold for others.  I recommend bringing a light jacket so that you will be comfortable either way.

“Do I Need Travel Insurance?”

We highly recommend you look for Travel Insurance through your airline or travel agent in case you have an unexpected change in plans. Most travel insurance is relatively inexpensive but will offer you peace of mind if you have a flight delay or cancellation, family emergency, or last minute change of plans. Make sure to review the policy to make sure it will meet your needs. Please remember if you are paying for extra nights at the hotel and cannot make it due to a flight cancellation or emergency you will still be responsible for your room charge (review cancellation policy). The right travel insurance should help cover these types of expenses.

“Will Internet be provided?”

High speed Internet Wi-fi will be included in your hotel room, in our Meeting rooms, and other Guest areas throughout the resort.

“Is Alcohol Included?”

I thought I would add this question in. YES, drinks are included with our group dinners, which will be explained when you check in. However – please drink in moderation during the Mastermind – because it’s important you’re alert for those morning sessions.

“I’ve Previously Attended The Platinum Mastermind,
How Can I Purchase Another Platinum Ticket To Attend This One Too?”

The One Thing You Need To Know If You’re Attending:

We expect this Mastermind to reach its Maximum capacity. This means that for the first time in our history, we may have to turn guests away. Therefore, complete your registration by chosing the appropriate ticket(s) below as soon as possible and in order to secure your room and your seat at this Mastermind. Final Registration date is Friday, February 26,2016 – however, the registration will close sooner if we reach our maximum capacity. Should that happen, you will have to defer your Platinum fulfillment until a later date.

“Any Little Extra Tips?”

Bring your laptop computer – you will need it and you will use it. Also, Bring a camera – preferably one that does both photos and video. Just as we do at all of our mastermind events, we’re going to have a contest for the best video submission of the event. I’ll likely be giving out prizes. So, bring both your camera, and, a laptop where you can edit the video with something like iMovie (for Mac owners) or Windows Media Player. The video doesn’t have to be too fancy – what I’m looking for, is something that’s entertaining You might even start doing some filming from the moment you get on the plane, and then arrive at the resort. I also recommend you make a short video before you arrive – just to practice editing, etc. That way, you’ll be able to make your video fast and submit for judging – which will likely happen at the farewell dinner, on the last night. We will also have a contest for the best photos. So, take lots and lots of photos over the Mastermind (we’ll also all be able to use these in our marketing to promote MOBE).

Entry Requirements for Flying into Fiji General Information

Only those arriving for medical treatment, yacht owners or members of a crew/carrier will need to apply for their permits before arriving in the country. Others will be given visitor permits on Immigration Clearance. This visitor permit will allow a visitor up to 4 months of stay. The stay can further be extended to 2 months if applying for extension and the fee is paid.

Visitors will need to present the following at Immigration clearance:

  • a valid foreign passport
  • return ticket to country of residence or citizenship
  • Visa Approval Letter from the Fjii Department of Immigration if the traveller is NOT a citizen of these visa-exempt countries
  • requisite fees ($F96) for travelers other than those arriving for medical treatment or yacht owners/members of a crew/carrier. This is because those arriving for medical treatment or yacht owners/members of a crew/carrier will have paid for their permits before arriving in the country.
  • Approval Letter from the Department of Immigration if permit was for medical treatment or yacht owners/members of a crew of a carrier
  • completed and signed Arrival Card
  • confirmed address in Fiji
  • proof of sufficient funds
