By the time he was in College, he’d already started dozens of small business’s – from selling Kangaroo furs, to farming marron, to mowing lawns, he was willing to try anything! During those late college years, he came across a home business opportunity on the internet. Knowing nothing about online marketing, he became obsessed with figuring it out … but 9 months later, with over $40,000 invested and having dropped out of college, had still not made a single sale.

He kept persisting, and, slowly results started to show up. In mid-2011, Matt created ‘MOBE’ as the solution to the biggest problems the industry was facing. “What Kind Of Activities Will We Be Doing?”

75% of the Mastermind will be us doing live training sessions. Many of these will be interactive. About 25% of the time, we’ll be out of the seminar room doing fun activities. On one afternoon, you’ll have the option to choose between 2 sets of activities. On another afternoon, we will take the afternoon off and if you choose, the hotel has various water sports and other activities you can do. Additional children or guests are welcome, but the cost will be your responsibility and will be directly charged by the hotel and must be paid upon departure. When you check in at the resort, you will need to present a credit card to cover these charges; as well as any incidentals you incur. Additional charges during Conference days (assessed by resort):

“If I’m Bringing My Family, What Kind Of Things Can They Do
During The Training Sessions?”

Your guests are perfectly welcome to join us in the main seminar room during the teaching sessions. If you have children, they are also welcome – if they are under 12, please be sure noise levels are kept to a minimum, as we’ll be recording. If your extras don’t want to attend the sessions, they can go hang out at the pool, lay on the beach, or spend some time at the spa.

“How Do I Make My Hotel Reservation”

When you submit your registration form, we will book your hotel room for you. We will reserve your room according to arrival and departure dates you provide on the registration. Please note the hotel requires ALL guest to provide full name, number of guest, full home address detail, email, phone number, arrival and departure dates. This information will be required in order to complete your registration form.

“What Kind Of Clothes Should I Bring?”

Bring casual clothes, and, also one set of clothes for a formal dinner. The weather will be warm and humid. Make sure you bring bathers, as well as some clothes you don’t mind getting dirty in (for the activities).

***Note: Sometimes in the seminar rooms, the air temperature will be too hot for some and too cold for others.  I recommend bringing a light jacket so that you will be comfortable either way.

If you leave the resort during your stay:  Dress is generally informal in Kota Kinabalu except on social, diplomatic or government occasions when a suit and tie is appropriate for the non-Muslims. Light clothing is appropriate as Kota Kinabalu only has one season which is summer.

Shorts, miniskirts and sleeveless garments for women are not advisable, especially in rural areas.

“Do I Need Travel Insurance?”

We highly recommend you look for Travel Insurance through your airline or travel agent in case you have an unexpected change in plans. Most travel insurance is relatively inexpensive but will offer you peace of mind if you have a flight delay or cancellation, family emergency, or last minute change of plans. Make sure to review the policy to make sure it will meet your needs. Please remember if you are paying for extra nights at the hotel and can not make it due to a flight cancellation or emergency you will still be responsible for your room charge (review cancellation policy). The right travel insurance should help cover these types of expenses.

“Is Alcohol Included?”

I thought I would add this question in. YES, drinks are free at designated bars and restaurants, which will be explained when you check in. However – please drink in moderation during the Mastermind – because it’s important you’re alert for those morning sessions.

“I’ve Previously Attended The Platinum Mastermind,
How Can I Purchase Another Platinum Ticket To Attend This One Too?”

If you have fully paid the Platinum Mastermind retail price once, and would like to attend a 2nd (or 3rd) Platinum Mastermind, simply purchase a ticket at the wholesale price here.

“Any Little Extra Tips?”

Bring a camera – preferably one that does both photos and video. Just as we did at the Platinum Mastermind in Fiji, Costa Rica, and Curacao, we’re going to have a contest for the best video testimonial of the event. I’ll likely be giving out cash – and, it will be a significant amount. So, bring both your camera, and, a laptop where you can edit the video with something like iMovie (for Mac owners) or Windows Media Player. The video doesn’t have to be too fancy – what I’m looking for, is something that’s entertaining. You might even start doing some filming from the moment you get on the plane, and then arrive at the resort. I also recommend you make a short video before you arrive in Malaysia – just to practice editing, etc. That way, you’ll be able to make your video fast and submit for judging – which will likely happen at the farewell dinner, on the last night. This time, we’ll also have a contest for the best photos. So, take lots and lots of photos over the Mastermind (we’ll also all be able to use these in our marketing to promote MOBE.)
