[DFYE] 5th March 2017 “Another parable about passive income”

3 Possible Subject Lines (Pick One):

Another parable about passive income
I just gave birth to full-grown twins!
How to trademark your last name

Email Body Copy:

I’d like to tell you another parable about passive income.

Because if you really understood it… you’d be the one trying to explain it to other people!

Making passive income is like giving birth to twin teenage boys:

With bodies that big, it hurts like hell to give birth to ‘em, but by the time their born, they’re already nearly adults.

And these twin boys start up a lawn mowing business.

Only, you have the trademark on their last name!

So, every time they mow a lawn for $35, you get $25 of it.

Making passive income is like having adult children who you don’t have to pay much to raise, but who spend each day going out and making you crazy commissions.

And I’m talking commissions in the $1000s, $5000s, $9000s and more!

[DFYE] 4th March 2017 “Why Betsy Devos won”

3 Possible Subject Lines (Pick One):

Why Betsy Devos won
Money talked
MTTB gets political

Email Body Copy:

Betsy DeVos just got voted in as the US Secretary of Education, and it’s no mystery why.

Love her or hate her.

Her family is a major funder of the Republican party, and has been for decades.

In an 1997 interview, she said, “my family is the largest single contributor of soft money to the national Republican party… and we expect a return on our investment.”

Again, love her thoughts, hate her thoughts, or tater tots, money makes a difference.

Call it pure-hearted generosity, sly sneakiness, or what have you, but…

You reap what you sow.

I’m not suggesting you try to buy influence… I’m just saying that things happen for people with money.

Would you like our tireless web design, product design, marketing, sales, order fulfillment, and customer service team to start working to make you some?

We’re ready at the click of a button:

This is terrible
Valentine’s Day advice – for men and women
Women are better than men

Email Body Copy:

The day before Valentine’s day, this young woman asks me, “What should I bake for my boyfriend?”

Before I answered, I couldn’t help but think,

“You don’t need to ask that question… HE does!”

Look, we all know that women are the smarter, more beautiful ones among us.

Valentine’s Day is the time for men to pay tribute, heavy tribute to the women who keep us around.

Women don’t need to worry about what to bake.

Wait – Why are we even talking about this?

Our widely successful executive coaches will help you stop marketing like a man…

and market like a woman!

We’ll help you become so attractive, that you’ll hardly need to say a word to get customers drooling after your products.

[DFYE] 2nd March 2017 “My logistical nightmare”

3 Possible Subject Lines (Pick One):

My logistical nightmare
The worst story you’ve ever heard
How to have a better night than I just did

Email Body Copy:

I’d like to tell you a story… which may or may not be true.

Last week, I got a text from my friend, Sarah:

“Hey, I’m supposed to pick up Karl from the airport tonight at 10:15, but I don’t think I can make it. Can you grab him for me?”

I checked the time—9:15 pm.

“Sure,” I said. “I can do that.”

A little over hour later, I’m pulling up to the first terminal, and I call Karl:

“Hey Karl, I’m here instead of Sarah. Where would you like me to pick you up?”

And Karl said, “Ohh… I’m sorry. Ian already picked me up, and he’s taking me home.”

I sat for a minute in my car, frustrated.

Due to some miscommunication, I got sent on a long night-time drive to pick up… nobody.

So I threw on some tunes and started making my way back.

Before long, I surprised myself with feelings of gratitude.

I couldn’t stop thinking: “My life used to be like this every day at my old job. I can’t believe I don’t have to make a living dealing with people like this.”

Don’t work with administrative doh-doh’s.

At MTTB, we will…
Build you a website
Create a slick sales funnel
Make all your phone sales
Fulfill all your customer orders
Field all customer service calls

… and…

Kick you consistent commissions in the $1000s, $3000s, and $5000s

I can’t begin to explain how good it feels working with peace of mind and un-tensed shoulders.

[DFYE] 1st March 2017 “Globalization, Marketing, and Friendship”

3 Possible Subject Lines (Pick One):

Globalization, Marketing, and Friendship
How the world used to work… and maybe still can
What we really want

Email Body Copy:

This week, I had a conversation with a young man named Justin.

He expressed this concern about globalization and how it gets people’s priorities all out of whack:

“Because of globalization, people are able to pursue really specific career goals, and so they leave their friends for jobs.

But first, they can leave their friends for really niche education that just puts a bunch of ideas in their heads. It doesn’t make them that much smarter—it just makes it harder for them to relate to us back home!

The biggest hit is that instead of apprenticeships, companies offer internships.

Back in the day, if you wanted to be a teacher, you would go to the school, be apprenticed by teachers, and then become a teacher. You wouldn’t have to leave home.

But now, if you want to be a teacher, you’ve got to leave home and get a four-year degree, make more temporary friends, and then move wherever you can get a job.

Globalization is killing friendship, man.”

I sympathized with Justin and had to agree that the modern way we have to go about job searches does cause us to make more sacrifices than we’d like to make.

But then I told him about MTTB, which offers one-on-one apprenticeship wherever you are.

Stay home, learn how to start your own business by doing it alongside and under the guidance of our experts.

No fancy schools…
No years of collecting internship “experience” before getting a real job…
No unnecessary sacrifice of home and friends…

Don’t let your life be blown about by market trends.

The world is full of dead leaves.

Set down roots and do what you want where you want.

[DFYE] 28th February 2017 “Matt is the worst human being in the whole world”

3 Possible Subject Lines (Pick One):

Matt is the worst human being in the whole world
No one wants to be this guy… are you?
Matt steals goo nuggets

Email Body Copy:

Matt is the worst human being in the whole world.

He was at the mall with his friend Camille, who had just bought one of those cinnamon rolls the size of a small couch.

Miserly Matt—that’s what we’ll call him—was too cheap to buy his own cinnamon roll…
…which Camille knew…

So she offered him a bite of hers.

Miserly Matt responded by reaching to the center of the cinnamon roll, plucking out the creamy center, and plopping that entire goo-nugget in his mouth.

And everyone knows that the point of eating a cinnamon roll is to get to the center, which is undisputedly the best part.

Miserly Matt has this bad habit of reaching in and, at no cost to himself, taking whatever he wants from the people who actually worked for it.

This is what makes him the worst human being in the whole world.

I regret to say that the Spirit of Miserly Matt lives on.

It lives on in cold bosses who see dollar signs instead of employees…
Managers who take credit for their employees’ sales success…
Bureaucratic organizations and online tax services that invent unnecessary fees…

Don’t go on working for anyone possessed by the Spirit of Miserly Matt.

MTTB knows that no business can be successful unless it treats its constituents like humans…
That salesmen are the crown of any and every business…
And that charging fees just because you can is barbaric.

Come work with us.

[DFYE] 27th February 2017 “Pride and Prejudice Pushes Products”

3 Possible Subject Lines (Pick One):

Pride and Prejudice Pushes Products
This guy learned a great marketing hack from Jane Austen
Marketing… and Romantic Victorian Literature

Email Body Copy:

Today, I came across one of the most brilliant pieces of marketing I’ve seen so far in 2017:

A well-groomed, single guy sitting in a coffee shop near a local state college, reading Pride and Prejudice.

OK, OK, maybe you’re thinking he has a genuine interest in romantic Victorian literature.

But I actually asked him:

“Hey man, what’s behind the Jane Austen novel?”

And I was right:

“You know this place is flooded with college girls every weekday, right?”

I mean, hats off.

He’s nailed one of the 4 classic P’s of marketing: place.

Just goes to show: Once you immerse yourself in the world of marketing, a lot of the normal things of life start to make sense. And to see it…

You don’t need an MBA
You don’t need to go to business school
You don’t need a bunch of marketing books

You need a product to sell, a system to sell it with, and a mentor who will help you re-imagine the world like a marketing professional.

I’m not exactly recommending you perch in a coffee shop looking for women…

I’m just saying that the education you’re going to get in MTTB will turn you into the person who can find what they’re looking for, if they want it.

Plus, the money here is not bad.

But you knew that.
